Community Park

The Morgan Township Community Park is a 14-acre public space located behind the Administration Building at 3141 Chapel Rd, Okeana, OH 45053. Planing for the park began in 2022; a group of volunteers sought community input around design and ammenities to be included in the park. In 2024 ground was graded and walking trails were installed. In the summer of 2025 a state-of-the-art, inclusive playground was installed. The Tanya Engel Memorial Playground was officially dedicated on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

The development of the park, walking trails, picnic shelter and playground were funded entirely by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grants and private donations. If you have concerns, questions or feedback regarding the park, please contact:
